DNK-Amsterdam presents... a new series of public space performances. Putting performance art back in touch with the people of Amsterdam and at the same time reclaiming central city public space from the commercial sector.
"When is the last time you felt at home on the town square?"
We invite you to perform this classic text-piece with us on this most public of Amsterdam spaces. (Or simply come and watch this non-spectacle unfold.)
Michael Parsons' Walk is a, by now, classic composition notated in text rather than notes and using the human gait as material instead of musical sounds or pitches. The purity of people walking from point A to C to B and back to A perhaps...
If you want to join the performance: mail koennutters@gmail.com for more information; or simply show up at 15:00 at the designated meeting point.
