DNK-Amsterdam presents Tetuzi Akiyama at Butcher's Tears

Tetuzi Akiyama made his name as a guitarist on the Japanese improvised music scene. Together with Toshimaru Nakamura he founded the historical 'Off-Site' series in Tokyo, a series that was one of the birth places of 'silent' electro-acoustic improvisation. Tetuzi played several times at DNK, always bringing an acoustic guitar, so this is the first time he comes to Amsterdam with an electric setup. One of his earlier electric albums 'Don't Forget to Boogie' is now a very rare and sought after record. Should be a special show.

André Avelăs brings inanimate objects to life with electronics, microphones and of course amplifiers. Probably quite noisy.
