24 September 2007
A night of new Scandinavian rock and calypso-mock.
Set 1:
MoHa! Anders Hana (NO) - guitar, keyboard, effects
Morten J. Olsen (NO) - drums and SuperCollider
MoHa! play electro-acoustic improvised music influenced by incredibly varied sources; from early electronic music to contemporary rock. A highly personal take on what's happening in music today refecting the kind of creative energy that transcends post modern mix and match techniques.
MoHa! are back in town with a tighter, more developed sound and a new found love for calypso structures.
They are part of the pan-european
N-Collective and recently released a new album (Norwegianism) on
Rune Grammofon.
Set 2:
Yoke & Yohs Johannes (DK) - sax
Toke (DK) - drums
Yoke & Yohs plays bøllerock on some drums and a big saxophone, fast & loud.
What more can we say about that?
They are part of the Danish
yoyo oyoy collective.
